About
Who I Am
I’m Mathieu Mafille, an IT Specialist focused on applied AI and automation at Digilac, a Swiss Atlassian Gold Partner. I build production systems that connect LLMs with business workflows and public data.
I’m currently completing a work-study Diploma ES in Computer Science at CPNE (2025–2028), after earning a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in Information Technology from ceff. I graduated with a grade of 5.4/6.0 and received awards for the best result in both the full-time CFC program and the IT department.
What I Do
My work sits at the intersection of three areas:
- Applied AI — MCP servers, tool-calling agents, sourced RAG, and production LLM applications
- Business automation — Atlassian-to-ERP workflows, quote and invoice pipelines, and operations tooling
- Platform engineering — Next.js monorepos, Ansible and GitOps infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability
At Digilac, I author open-source MCP tooling, contribute to a multilingual AI platform for Swiss open data, and ship production automations between Atlassian PPC and Bexio ERP. These pipelines generate quotes and invoices in four languages (FR/DE/EN/IT), with outputs across Excel, PDF, and Confluence.
Before moving into my current role in August 2025, I spent eighteen months as an IT intern at Digilac. I automated Jira-to-Confluence reporting and backups, supported Atlassian Cloud migrations and permission audits, and presented live Atlassian Rovo demos at community events in Lausanne.
Selected Work
- simap-mcp — an open-source TypeScript MCP server I authored at Digilac. Its 14 tools make Swiss public procurement data from simap.ch available to AI assistants. It is published on npm, listed on the official MCP Registry, and released under the MIT license.
- Quoven — my solo-built SaaS for source-backed product validation. It runs parallel research probes and turns a product brief into a validation dossier with a verdict, confidence score, and verifiable citations. The platform includes authentication, usage-based billing, and analytics.
Infrastructure Lab
I also operate a multi-provider lab managed with Ansible and GitOps. It includes a Knot hidden master with six DNSSEC secondaries across four continents; Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alloy monitoring over WireGuard; hardened VPS hosts; blockchain nodes; and home-server automation.
Tools I Use
- Languages — TypeScript, Python, and Bash
- Applications and data — Next.js, FastAPI, Drizzle, and PostgreSQL
- AI engineering — MCP, Vercel AI SDK, RAG, tool calling, and prompt engineering
- Platform and operations — GitHub Actions, Docker, Ansible, Linux, and WireGuard
